We are very pleased to announce that Ironin Von Grunheide (Ronin) will be joining Grothaus K9!

Ronin retired from the Hillsboro, Oregon Police department, where he attained an impressive record of apprehensions. Representing the Hillsboro Police Department at the 2013 & 2014 Police K9 Trials, HPD K9 Ronin took home two gold medals from each event, with first place in the agility course and master protection. K9 Ronin also placed third in the fastest dog competition, clocked at around 27 mph. Ronin has incredible drive and tracking skills and presence in protection shows a power that is not just for show. Ronin has a huge head, incredible substance and bone paired with beautiful conformation, extreme dark pigment and a wonderful temperament. We are excited for future litters with our exceptional girls and a select few, outside females.
